The hiring of foreign workers is regulated by the Flows Decree which establishes the maximum number of foreign workers that can be hired.

It can convert the permit for seasonal work into subordinate work from the first entry into Italy, without distinction that the contract offered.

For those in possession of a study permit, they can work for a maximum of 1,040 hours, if the hours are longer, it must be converted.

The renewal request must be submitted 60 days before and up to 60 days after the expiry date, attaching a copy of the documentation.

The foreign self-employed person is entitled to the same benefits due to the Italian one, also affected by the inefficiencies of local health.

The work activities that fall within the seasonal subordinate work quotas are the agricultural sector and the tourism-hotel sector.

The renewal of the permit must be requested to the Police Headquarters at least 60 days before the expiry date, to verify the conditions envisaged.
